Parade of Tables

On April 25, five women represented Leesville Baptist Church at the Parade of Tables at Forest Hills Baptist Church. The theme for the event was “Come to the Garden” and each table was decorated in a scripture-based garden theme. Our hostesses were Thea Blake and Janet Masters, who provided a lovely table using the theme “A Well-Watered Garden” (Jer. 31:12). A delicious and generous luncheon, prepared by the hostesses from WMU organizations throughout the Raleigh Baptist Association, was presented buffet-style. Entertainment included a fashion show with clients of the Christian Women’s Job Corps, using professional clothing donated to Soroptomist Inter national of Raleigh. We celebrate their success as they were presented with certificates of completion of the program.
